UPCOMING ELECTIONS:
General - November 5, 2024
ELECTION CHANGES FOR 2024
There have been precinct changes - See the Street Index below to find your correct precinct
With the passage of Proposal 2 in 2022 the following changes are now in effect:
Permanent Ballot – This is an option for those who like to vote by absentee ballot. Rather than first getting an application in the mail for every election you only need to sign up once and from that point on you will automatically be mailed a ballot for every election. However please note, that if you use this option and you temporarily leave your registered address you must inform our office when needing to use another mailing address. The State is working on a way to keep “snowbird” addresses and effective dates in their system, but it won’t happen for 2024.

Early Voting for November will begin Saturday, October 26 and end Sunday, November 3. The canvass of Early Voting will take place Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the Clay Township Meeting hall the time is to be determined.
Early Tabulation - An Early Absentee Voter Counting Board has been established to process ballots. Saturday November 2, 2024 from 8:00am - 6pm (if needed). The Tabulation will take place at Clay Township's Conference Room, 4710 Pte. Tremble, Clay Township, MI 48001. There will be 3 Election Inspectors processing ballots.
